OUR OBJECTIVE
SET THE STANDARD; is a suicide awareness and benefit fashion show, that will feature over 30 models who will be showcasing fashion designs from 10 designers from across the four corners area. We are spreading culture this year from all nationalities. Join us.

As a benefit fashion show we will be donating all of the proceeds collected by ticket sales to a local Suicide Prevention Program in Jefferson City. We will be using fashion to bring awareness, as well as empower those who attend along with anyone who may see the photos or videos from the event. We will have several speakers and entertainers who will be sharing their experiences or thoughts on suicide.
FASHION IS ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL FORMS OF ART TODAY.
When you think of Fashion you think of pieces that have the most impact on you, the pieces that connected to you the most.

We often associate the fashion industry as something negative, but I want to highlight something more important. I did some research on impactful fashion shows through experience and found the following: All the most impactful fashion shows had a strong message and a team to form it together. It takes one person to have the vision, however it takes a community to put it on. Each member of this community has a story but more so have something I like to call “street cred”. These individuals have inhabited an area of necessity; like sewing, walking with confidence, event planning, more importantly, leadership. With the leadership they possess, the one vision has now blossom into “our vision”. Every single designer, makeup artist, hairstylist, and producer had something that they wanted to show. They wanted to make a statement with their clothes. This is what I want to accomplish with my show.
I am the current title holder of the Poise Master with the platform of Teen and Adult Suicide awareness. I have experienced, first-hand, the devastation of losing someone to suicide. The one big thing I hope to come out of this show is to educate.
“The goal is educate people on what suicide is, what the signs are of depression, how to help others who are dealing with depression or suicidal thoughts, or even how to get help. With this show I hope to bring awareness to suicide and spread it to everyone I can.”

We will also be having surprise designers who will be showcasing SET THE STANDARD; merch along with a few other special surprises. All of our vendors will be donating an item for a raffle in which all proceeds will all go to Suicide Prevention Programs in Jefferson City.
Suicide is very stigmatized topic even though it is the second leading cause of death amongst adolescents. With this show as well as with the title of Poise Master, I want to help others in as many ways possible.

PRESS REGISTRATION
Are you interested in registering as press for Fashion Week? Our show is built around quality, an experience, and a memory. We want everyone to be talking about our shows for years down the road. For that to happen, it all starts with our media partners. At our shows, media will have access to all our VIP areas and be treated like the special individuals you are. We will also have an Olympic worthy media room with all the necessary tools to upload content instantly, take a needed breather if necessary, and just conquer the world.
WHO QUALIFIES?
Fashion Week Press + Media registration is open for journalists regularly making editorial contributions. Editorial media includes writers, reporters, reviewers, producers, photographers, videographers, etc. who are attending specifically to write about the event for newspapers, magazines, TV, blogs, podcasts, radio, etc.
PRESS PASS ACCESS
Fashion Week press passes provide complimentary access to the Fashion Week and corresponding venues (that don’t require a separate ticket) for all days of the event. Press passes are extended as a courtesy of the Fashion Week Venues. The Fashion Weeks are “attendee first” events which means your press pass allows access to the Fashion Week as long as space is available.
Your press pass DOES NOT allow:
- Early or special access into Fashion Week
- Guaranteed seating at panels and special events
- The ability to cut lines
- Free access into any events requiring an additional ticket
Any additional access, under certain situations, must be arranged through The Poise Management team.
PRESS + MEDIA GUIDELINES
Submitting a press application does not guarantee approval. All press applications will be reviewed by The Poise team and you will be notified if you have been approved or denied. If approved, additional information will be provided in your confirmation email and receipt. Every individual applying for a Fashion Week press pass may only apply once.
MULTIPLE PASSES
Each press pass is issued individually. If you’re applying with a team, each person on your team needs to apply and be approved separately. Poise Brand reserve the right to approve or deny any application and limit the number of press passes provided to each organization. If you’re approved and then email us saying you only received one badge and need more for your team, you will be directed to have the rest of your team submit an application and they may or may not be approved for passes.
All press passes are non-transferable and non-resellable. Any individuals caught selling their press pass will be disqualified from attending all future Fashion Weeks. This is non-negotiable.
ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL
We reserve the right to approve or deny any application. This decision is final and cannot be appealed. Please include all information in your application that will allow STS Poise Models Fashion Week team to make an informed decision on your application, as you will not be able to submit further information later if your application is not approved.
If you have been approved for a show, there is no need to re-register, as you will receive RSVP’s for each future event.
